About the Programme/Course:
To develop the skills of practitioners working with two year olds. There is an element of practical activity.
- To identify and discuss the learning and developmental needs of two year olds
- To support practitioners in creating an 'Enabling Environment' that appropriately engages,
stimulates and challenges two year olds
- To review the statutory progress check at age two
- To explore tracking children and the characteristics of effective learning
- To explore strategies to self-evaluate the quality of provision for two year olds
Impact:
Practitioners will have the knowledge, understanding and skills to:
- Identify the developmental needs of two year olds
- Complete the statutory progress check at age two
- Create an 'Enabling Environment' for two year olds
- Track children
- Understand the characteristics of effective learning
- Evaluate the quality of provision for two year olds

Option A: One day course
- Option B: One day course plus a follow-up visit
- Option C: Can be delivered as an in house package for settings or collaborations
