About Safeguarding

Safeguarding Advice, Support, Training and Challenge

Safeguarding Support is available directly from the Education Safeguarding Team at Kent County Council. The team also works on an annual Service Level Agreement (SLA) basis where credits can be purchased in advance which equates to a whole day input for £400 and a half day for £200. For providers who choose the non-SLA option (similar to Pay as You Go for the remaining Early Years Offer) the cost is considerably higher at £600 per day.

NB: Safeguarding telephone support from the Local Authority's Lead Professional is non-chargeable and part of the free offer to all providers. The Safeguarding Newsletter that is published three times per year is also cascaded to schools and settings without charge.
