Entering or Developing? Making Accurate Judgements in the Early Years

Event description This half-day course will support you to understand the requirements for assessment in the early years, the importance of ensuring the judgements of 'entering' and 'developing' accurately identify each child's current stage of learning and development and how to ensure judgements are consistent across the whole staff team. 
Training objectives • Understand the importance of assessments and the role they play in improving outcomes for children.
• Gain knowledge of the requirements to regularly assess, track and monitor children’s progress in the Early Years
• Learn how to make professional judgements and ensure consistency across the staff team in order to meet children’s individual needs.
