Event description The Early Years SENCo Day two training is for experienced SENCo's who are a Level 3 practitioner working in a private, voluntary and independent (PVI) setting. It is also relevant to experienced childminders.
This course provides the next level of training for the Early Years SENCo and Childminder. Delegates will have already attended the one-day SENCo course and are now ready to enhance their skills and knowledge to support children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) and their families.

This course is chargeable.

Training objectives Practitioners will explore ways to further develop their good EYFS practice to enhance the learning of children with SEND.
• To identify vulnerable groups of children and children at risk of delay
Confidently assess and plan timely interventions to meet identified needs
• Understand children with complex learning and medical needs
• Review partnership working and key-working for families with your wider team
