Event description | This course enables childminders and their supporting staff to gain the knowledge and skills required to carry out their statutory safeguarding responsibilities as highlighted within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’. This course will assist delegates in understanding the local Kent Integrated Front Door process alongside creating a safer culture. The course uses a variety of scenarios and discussions to help delegates put learning into practice and is delivered by experienced trainers who have a sound knowledge of social work and childminding practice. Please note: supply cover will NOT be paid and all bookings made by a member of Kent County Council must provide a valid Purchase Order or your booking will be cancelled. This session will run as an interactive Zoom session. Delegates will be sent the link no later than 24 hours before the start date.
