The Thinking Child - How to Problem Solve in the Early Years

Event description This workshop will challenge practitioners to develop skills, knowledge and concepts necessary to support children’s critical thinking and problem solving. There will be a combination of research evidence and practical ideas to develop adults confidence to support young children.

This session will run as an interactive Zoom session. Delegates will be sent the link no later than 24 hours before the start date. Please ensure you are able to access Zoom at least 1 hour prior to the session. Please note that these are not recorded and therefore not available to watch at a later date and delegates need to attend as a live session.

Participants who are unable to install Zoom can join our training using the Zoom web client on their desktop web browser. The Join from your browser link will appear after the user clicks on the link to join the meeting.

• Gain a repertoire of practical ideas and experiences in all areas of learning including Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
• Appraise the role of the adult in supporting the “thinking child”
