Babies are Amazing! (two sessions)

Event description Early experiences shape babies' development and the importance of attachment cannot be underestimated. Have you ever watched in awe and wonder at the intensity of communication between a baby and its primary care giver?This workshop will provide you with opportunities to explore and understand the importance of brain development, how to support physical, communication and language development as well as how to create an appropriate environment for babies and under two's.

This session will run as an interactive Zoom session. Delegates will be sent the link no later than 24 hours before the start date. Please ensure you are able to access Zoom at least 1 hour prior to the session. Please note that these are not recorded and therefore not available to watch at a later date and delegates need to attend as a live session.

Participants who are unable to install Zoom can join our training using the Zoom web client on their desktop web browser. The Join from your browser link will appear after the user clicks on the link to join the meeting. 
Training objectives • Identify how relationships and everyday experiences shape a baby's brain.
• Distinguish how and what babies learn through physical play.
• Identify the development norms for babies and young children's communication and language development.
• Identify how to create an appropriate environment that meets the needs of babies and under twos.
