English as an Additional Language in the Early Years

Event code EYC 21/059
Event description This half day workshop aims to provide information and guidance for early years practitioners working across the early years foundation stage. This training will provide a range of strategies to support children in settings who are learning English in addition to their first language.

Whilst you may encounter some anxieties during the initial settling-in period, working with emerging EAL children is a most rewarding experience which will enhance and enrich your setting, and extend your own professional development.

This session will run as an interactive Zoom session. Confirmed delegates will be e-mailed the link 24 hours prior to the session. Please ensure you are able to access Zoom at least 1 hour prior to the session. Please note that these are not recorded and therefore not available to watch at a later date and delegates need to attend as a live session.

If you have not received the link, please do not hesitate to contact us on 03000 418000.

If you have not used Zoom before and require helpful tips, we recommend having a look at these:
