| Event description | This one day course will increase practitioner's knowledge and understanding of the typical development of communication and language for children 0-5. It provides a range of strategies and skills to enable practitioners to effectively support this prime area of learning and development for all children, and to identify when children are at risk of delay. This training is jointly written and delivered by the Early Years Equality and Inclusion Team and the Kent Speech and Language Therapy Team. The course attendance is funded by Kent County Council for delegates from Kent-based PVI settings, including childminders. Non-attendance and late cancellations will still be charged as per the terms and conditions. Please note: Due to the muilti-agency delivery, this course is not available for delivery in-house or to collaborations |
