A Practical Guide for Early Years Special Educational Needs Coordinators

Event description This webinar is aimed at new SENCos or SENCos wishing to refresh their knowledge. The session provides a good introduction to the one day SENCo course.
In this session we will be looking at the principles of the graduated approach, sharing information on the SEND code of practice 2015 and the Equality Act 2010. You will also learn about appropriate referral routes to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
The course contains learning resource materials that can be downloaded in advance of the training, they will be used in conjunction with topics being discussed. You should also have your Best Practice Guidance document available.

This session will run as an interactive zoom session. Confirmed delegates will be e-mailed the link 24 hours prior to the session. Please ensure you are able to access zoom at least 1 hour prior to the session.
