Foundation Stage Language for Learning (5 sessions) (West)

Event description Foundation Stage Language for Learning is a licensed course delivered by accredited trainers, a specialist teacher and a speech and language therapist. There will be five sessions focussing on key aspects of speech, language, and communication development, including measuring impact on young children’s progress and delivery of SLCN needs within the EYFS. The course includes activities to use back in your setting, working together with a colleague and cascading practice.

Pre-Course Information:
Prior Speech and Language knowledge at Universal Level such as 'Prime Importance of Language and Communication' would be preferable. 
Training objectives Participants will understand SLCN, adopt a structured approach from identification to intervention for pupils with SLCN and know and understand how to use a range of general and specific strategies to support children across the EYFS.
